scorpions' tails aren't so big too. I'm also totally against using multiple pieces of paper. it breaks the non-written rules and I refuse to call it origami.(that's just my opinion though.nothing personal ^_^)
EDIT:I can't believe you cut the paper to make claws!!!!!!!!!!!!

duy nguyen's that uses cuts?nah, i'd rather prefer cuong hung nguyen's or lang's..one square no cuts and all the details........
